Red Wine Vinaigrette Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbl. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • kosher salt & freshly cracked pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Instructions

  • Whisk together all ingredients, except the olive oil.  Whisking constantly, slowly drizzle in the olive oil.  Continue whisking until the dressing thickens slightly.
  • Store unused portion in the refridgerator for up to a week.
