Turkey Divan {Eat Out of the Fridge/Pantry Week}
We’ll all be looking for ways to use up some leftover roast turkey (or chicken). Why look further than classic Turkey Divan. Creamy sauce poured over roasted turkey and steamed broccoli then baked to into amazing. It’s a comfort food classic and when it’s time for another Eat Out of the Fridge/Pantry Week, you’ll be glad to have this recipe on hand.

Rosemary & Cracked Black Pepper Roast Chicken
When you cook a whole chicken every week like we do, you are always searching for new recipe inspiration. We literally sit around talking about our favorite flavor pairings. “Rosemary & Cracked Black Pepper” leaped out of my mouth with a level of certainty that was not to be questioned. There are three primary reasons why we roast a chicken every week (there are so many more than three but we narrowed it down).

Lunch Counter Style Chef’s Salad
We had a good old fashioned Lunch Counter Style Chef’s Salad for dinner last night. It had been years since I’ve had one. Once the salad revolution transformed how we view salads, some of the old standards have been slowly forgotten. I can say with certainty that there’s a reason the Chef’s Salad was on most menus for decades. It’s delicious and a completely satisfying meal.

Maryland Crab Dip
We made this Maryland Crab Dip for last year’s Super Bowl game in honor of the Baltimore Ravens. It went great with our Cheesy Garlic & Herb Pull-Apart Bread made from a nice sourdough loaf in honor of the San Francisco 49ers. When I posted the pull apart bread recipe on Facebook last night, the crowd went wild…..for the Maryland Crab Dip :) So I got up this morning and made it just for you.

Meatloaf {Moist & Delicious & Simple}
Moist & Delicious Meatloaf. Simplify. This word hangs over my kitchen sink and is more often than not… ignored. I love the concept of ‘less is more’ I just struggle when it comes to cooking with this in mind. Having said that, this meatloaf recipe is the perfect example of combining just a few simple ingredients to create magic. Maybe this should be called Magic Meatloaf.

Friday Night Sliders {TGIF}
Friday Night Sliders. Because sometimes you just deserve a good burger!! When it comes to food I’m all about the package, the delivery if you will. So if there is a way to make a burger cute I’m all in. We have White Castle to thank for the slider revolution. And while their thin griddle-cooked patties have their place in history, they’re not my favorite. Don’t hate me.

Steak & Cheese Subs {with Onion, Mushrooms & Jalapeno}
Steak & Cheese Subs {with Onion, Mushrooms & Jalapeno} are the perfect week night meal. I held back from calling these Philly Cheesesteaks. I’ve never actually had an authentic Philly Cheesesteak but am sure they are worthy of more effort than it took to make these subs. These were super fast and so easy. I also held back from calling these Steak & Cheese Grinders, which is what I grew up loving. Wasn’t sure that the regional term ‘grinder’ would resonate with a wider audience :) For almost as far back as I can remember my friends and I would get on our bikes and ride into town to eat at the Pizza…

Mushroom & Kale Quinoa Breakfast Bowl
Mushroom & Kale Quinoa Breakfast Bowl. It was 52 degrees in our bedroom this morning. Somehow opening a window ever so slightly seemed like a fine idea at bedtime. Brrrr. So while I lay snuggled deeply into my bed I did a mental inventory of the ingredients in my fridge and pantry. If there was one thing that would get me out from under the covers, it was breakfast.

Mardi Gras Whole Roasted Chicken
Mardi Gras Whole Roasted Chicken. This fabulous Mardi Gras Seasoning Blend is a top secret recipe. At least it was until now. We went into test kitchen mode this week working on the perfect blend of spices so that we could recreate Publix Super Market Mardi Gras Wings. Why just season the wings, when you can do the whole bird?!

Quinoa & Raw Veggie Salad
One of my ‘healthy eating’ work buddies brought in the most delicious salad to share. One bite in, just one….and I was recreating this salad in my mind to share with you. We decided to call it Quinoa & Raw Veggie Salad.
