The Wedge Salad {and Grinching Away Christmas}
Today’s the day. The day I dread each January. Taking down the Christmas decorations, or as we call it….Grinching Away Christmas. Every year I procrastinate. Drag it out until the very last minute. The house just doesn’t feel the same without them. The lights of the tree warm the room and my soul. I hear trips being made to the basement….this is really going to happen today. Ugh! Can we just have a Wedge Salad instead.

Ham Bone Soup {Warm & Tasty}
This wonderful soup, that we’ve been eating for the past two days, could be made with almost any ingredients….so long as there’s a Ham Bone in the soup pot. And no matter how skilled you are at carving a ham, there is always extra meat still on the bone.

Red Currant Chili Glazed Salmon {with Israeli Couscous with Spinach}
Look at these for just a moment. They are red currants and tonight they are recipe inspiration. When we were growing up, one of mom’s signature party appetizers was Cocktail Franks in Red Currant Chili Sauce. We loved them. I hadn’t thought about them in quite some time until I spotted these little beauties at the market. There was no way I was leaving without them. And so we shall have Red Currant Chili Glazed Salmon over Israeli Couscous with Spinach.
