There are some things I routinely make from scratch that I take for granted. Homemade Whipped Cream is one of them. Consider this post being less about a recipe and more about encouragement to make from scratch whenever possible. It’s really nice to know the ingredients in your dishes. In this case…just two.
Homemade Whipped Cream
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 Tbl. confectioners sugar
- If you have time to pop your bowl and beaters in the freezer for a few minutes before beginning it will speed up the process.
- Combine ingredients in a small bowl. Beat on low for 10 seconds then increase to high until mixture becomes thick. Continue another 15-30 seconds, until you have stiff peaks.
