Traditional Alfredo Sauce. This luxurious sauce is most classically referred to in conjunction with Fettuccini Alfredo.
We’ve incorporated it in our Seafood Lasagna {with Jalapeno Sauce}. In that case we simply added finely diced jalapeno to the butter and sautéed for a few minutes before adding cream. It’s delicious.

Traditional Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 Tbl. butter
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. freshly grated black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in a heavy bottom saucepan. Add in heavy cream and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat. Whisk in the Parmesan cheese, black pepper, garlic powder. Season with salt to taste.
