Chocolate Ganache Topping.
I completely underestimated Chocolate Ganache Topping when I set out to make this Chocolate Truffle Cheesecake.

When the ganache sets up it becomes a silky smooth layer of fudge-like goodness. Or the inside of the most decadent truffle. I won’t be reserving this for only cheesecake.

Chocolate Ganache
Ingredients
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 4-ounce dark chocolate baking bar
- 1 4-ounce semisweet chocolate baking bar
Instructions
- Bring cream to a light boil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Chop chocolate bars into small pieces. Pour hot cream over and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Whisk until smooth. Then allow to cool until slightly warm (about 15 minutes).
