I must say reflecting back on an entire year…in food…is a bit humbling. When we started Lemony Thyme in 2012 I could never have imagined a recipe being viewed over 50,000 times in one year. Yet it has happened. Here’s our count-down of the 10 Most Viewed Lemony Thyme Recipes of 2014. #10 Kefta Mkaouara {Moroccan Spicy Meatball & Tomato Tagine with Poached Eggs}. A traditional Moroccan tagine dish, offering all the right components. Lovely spices, fresh herbs, wonderfully seasoned mini-meatballs, and poached eggs all slow cooked in glorious tomato and olive sauce. #9 Whole Roasted Tandoori Cauliflower {with Mint Chutney}. The whole cauliflower is rubbed liberally with tandoori marinade then roasted to perfection. The mint chutney and fresh lemon juice pair beautifully. #8 Mardi Gras Wings Seasoning. This copycat recipe might be the one I am most proud of and has become a favorite of many. #7 Pozole Rojo {Pork & Hominy Stew}. The stew itself is quite basic. It is the myriad of garnishes and toppings that allows each who enjoys Pozole Rojo to make it their own. Delicioso! #6 Stuffed Poblano Peppers. Fresh quality ingredients and step-by-step instructions make this recipe a must make. #5 Pepperoncini Pot Roast. This fabulous recipe is prepared in the slow cooker with just a few ingredients and very little work. Yet the result is melt in your mouth and so tender you can cut it with a fork. #4 Roast Chicken in a Clay Baker. Delicious roast chicken prepared in our treasured Romertopf Clay Baker. Fresh herbs & aromatics deliver familiar comfort. #3 The Classic Reuben Sandwich {with Homemade Russian Dressing. Marble rye bread layered with thinly sliced corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing, then pan grilled. Simple perfection. #2 Salisbury Steak with Mushroom Gravy. Salisbury Steak isn’t much more than kicked-up hamburger patties braised in mushroom gravy. Almost like mini-meatloaves, sautéed in butter, then finished in a nice rich mushroom gravy. Don’t get me wrong they deserve to be our second most viewed recipe in 2014. #1 Crab Rangoon Dip with Wonton Chips. I never would have imagined that one of my most favorite finger foods turned into a dip would be viewed over 50,000 times and repined on Pinterest 328,392 times in 2014. Good lord. That’s just plain crazy!! Happy New Year friends. Looking forward to challenging the top recipes of 2014 with some new favorites in 2015. Thank you for being such an inspiration. xo Libby
