Restaurant-Style Salsa

Libby with Lemony Thyme


  • 1 28- ounce can diced tomatoes with juice preferably no salt added
  • 1 onion large diced
  • 2-3 jalapenos seeds removed, diced
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 1 handful fresh cilantro small stems and leaves about 2 cups
  • 1 tsp. lime juice or to taste
  • 1 tsp. cumin or to taste
  • 1 tsp. salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper or to taste
  • pinch cayenne pepper optional


  • Place all ingredients into your blender or Vitamix container. Pulse until desired consistency is reached. Adjust seasonings to taste. Chill before serving.
