Sugared Pecans

We add these to Spinach Salad, but snacking on Sugared Pecans isn't all bad either.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 Tbl. water
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 cups pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • Beat egg white with water and vanilla until frothy.
  • Add pecans and toss to coat.
  • Combine sugar, cinnamon, and salt then mix with pecans.
  • Foil line baking sheet and coat with cooking spray.
  • Pour pecans in single layer onto sheet.
  • Bake for 25 - 30 minutes until nicely browned, turning after 15 minutes.

Notes

Pecans will crisp up after cooling. Store in air tight container.
