Chocolate Cobbler {Adventures in Chocolate}

Ingredients
  

Base layer...

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup self rising flour
  • 2 Tbl. cocoa
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 Tbl. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Top layer...

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa

Water...

  • 1 1/2 cups hot water

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Mix the base layer ingredients into a greased 11 x 7 glass baking dish.
  • Mix top layer ingredients together and sprinkle evenly on the base ingredients.
  • Pour hot water gently over all. DO NOT MIX - just gently pour over all.
  • Bake for 40 minutes.
  • Best serve warmed...with vanilla ice cream.
