In reply to Laura. I made about 120 wings with this copy cat seasoning mix because we love Publix's Mardi Gras wings so much. We were having a large crowd of 35 people at our house last summer, and I decided to make them myself instead of buying them. I used my air fryer to cook them and then kept them warm in a large crockpot. Turned out beautifully!

In reply to Chuck. So missing the Publix in Navarre FL, fell in love with the Mardi Wings several years ago. We have since had to return to Ohio and miss the beach area so much. I am almost out of the spice mix Publix sold to me just before we left, so I am so appreciateive for your recipe, will be making soon for Mardi Gras Ohio style what ever that might be! I made these wings some time ago and they were very good. Then I made another batch and purchased some of publix’s mixture and did a comparison. They were too close to call in a taste comparison. Today, I will try your seasoning on small turkey wings. I will marinade them for about three hours and then bake. I’m looking forward to trying them. Thanks so much for this recipe.

My daughter asks for thse every time she comes home from college. ?her other favorite is steak made with McComick’s Meat Marinade (red envelope package with steak on the front). But the have quit making it. I’ve tried to find a copy cat recipe for this, bit not success. I know if has dried minced onion and mustard seeds. So so good on flank steak. Any thoughts on where to find a copy cat recipe. Thank you!

This is good I have tried it however this is not a good copycat. The mix they use has orange, lemon, and onion powder in it too
