We have a new puppy, Scrappy Thyme.  Younger sister to Lilah Faith.  They are Boston Terriers.  One of the “they’re so funny looking they’re cute” breeds.  Don’t get me wrong…these bug-eyed beauties are beautiful in every way in our house.  We took Scrappy in for her 10-week checkup and she weighed in at 4 lbs.

Tonight B is babysitting (so that I can type this post).  Picture it with me.  Scrappy is sitting in B’s lap, well kind of across B’s stomach.  Q&A begins.  B:  How much did she weigh at the vet yesterday?  Me:  4 lbs.  B:  Hmm…good to know.  Me:  Good to know what babe?  B:  What a 4 lb. fat roll looks like.

I can’t promise you that we will only post “Healthy Living” options in 2013, but I do commit to sharing some lighter recipes from time to thyme.  Because I’ve seen a 4 lb. fat roll.  And while she’s very cute, no one needs an extra one.
