Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles
  • ½ cup butter (1 stick)
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tbl. vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup mini-chocolate chips
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips or candy coating for dipping
  1. Beat butter, brown sugar and vanilla until combined. Add in flour until just combined, then stir in mini-chocolate chips.
  2. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place on parchment lined shallow baking sheet. Freeze for about 30 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips in microwave safe bowl. Stirring every 20 - 30 seconds until melted.
  4. Remove dough from freezer. Using toothpick, dip each in melted chocolate and place back on parchment lined baking sheet. Once all are dipped, return to refrigerator for 5 minutes to set chocolate.
