Sugared Pecans
We add these to Spinach Salad, but snacking on Sugared Pecans isn't all bad either.
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 Tbl. water
  • ¼ tsp. vanilla
  • 3 cups pecan halves
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. salt
  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Beat egg white with water and vanilla until frothy.
  3. Add pecans and toss to coat.
  4. Combine sugar, cinnamon, and salt then mix with pecans.
  5. Foil line baking sheet and coat with cooking spray.
  6. Pour pecans in single layer onto sheet.
  7. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes until nicely browned, turning after 15 minutes.
Pecans will crisp up after cooling. Store in air tight container.
