Apple Pancakes with Brickle Butter
 
 
Brickle Butter begs to have apples gently raked through it. So why not pair it with anything apple....say apple pancakes?

Ingredients
Brickle Butter
  • 8 oz. block softened cream cheese
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup English toffee bits
Apple Pancakes (1/2 recipe)
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • ⅛ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt
Instructions
Brickle Butter
  1. Combine softened cream cheese, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla, English toffee bits.
  2. Mix well and chill.
Apple Pancakes
  1. In medium bowl, beat 1 egg, ¾ cup milk, and ½ tsp. vanilla.
  2. In small bowl, whisk together 1 cup flour, ⅛ cup sugar, ½ tsp. baking powder, ¼ tsp. salt.
  3. Combine dry ingredients into wet until well blended.
  4. Stir in 1 apple peeled, cored, and grated.
  5. Cook pancakes in lightly oiled skillet over medium heat until golden brown on each side.
  6. Serve with Brickle Butter and a swirl of pure Maple Syrup.
