Beef Bourguignon. Boeuf Bourguignon. Beef Burgundy. I think we grew up with this dish. No, not the first two. My Mom made beef burgundy often. The cuts of meat may have started out a bit tough requiring extra cooking love, but the end result was melt in your mouth wonderful. Several years ago I got a hankering to attempt the Feast of the Seven Fishes for our Christmas Eve dinner. I carefully selected recipes, ordered specialty items ahead from our local seafood market, and rewrote my plan of attack dozens of times before the big day arrived. I envisioned this becoming our new Christmas Eve traditional dinner and oh how that excited me.
Due to work and life and more life it had been quite some time since our last Sundays with Shelby outing.
